Health and Safety

The work place can be a dangerous place. Over 200 people are killed each year in accidents at word and over one million people are injured. Over two million suffer illnesses caused by, or made worse by their work. Preventing accidents and ill health caused by work is a key priority for everyone at work. Competent and safe staff are vital and days where staff are off due to injury or illness is money lost for any business.

However with the right training, staff can identify any safety issues and work proactively to minimise the risk of them occurring, ensuring a safe and worker friendly environment, and health and safety will become second nature to your staff.

Everyone, including self-employed people, needs to know how to work safely and without risks to health. Employees and employers alike need to know about their health and safety policy, the arrangements for implementing it, and the part they play as well as their legal duties to one another’s safety.

GRA can provide this training to all staff, regardless of what sector of employment they work in to help reduce the risk of injury including:-

  • Informing on the technique of efficient, proactive risk assessment writing.
  • How staff can help themselves and each other to work safely.
  • Highlighting key points of The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and how it affects us all at work.
